About BNMU
B. N. Mandal University, Madhepura is a State University situated near the district headquarters at Laloo nagar, Madhepura, Bihar. University का स्थापना 10th of January, 1992 को महान सामाजिक नेता, Bhupendra Narayan Mandal के नाम पर किया गया । Madhepura शहर बहुत सारे national highway और state highway से commected है and the University is located at the junction of NH-106 and NH-107. University के सबसे नजदीक Airport,Darbhanga Airport है जो 100 km के दूरी पर है ।
मधेपुरा और आसपास के स्थान जैसे सिंहेश्वर और महिषी हिंदू पौराणिक कथाओं में अपने अत्यधिक धार्मिक महत्व के लिए जाने जाते हैं और इसलिए यह शहर एक प्रसिद्ध तीर्थस्थल है। University तीन district में आता है i.e; Madhepura, Saharsa and Supaul and also touches with the international boundary of Nepal. Border पर होने के वजह से India और Nepal दोनों जगह के students BNMU में Admission करवाते हैं । University provides more than 50 courses, having 1100 faculty approximately.
