Mahavir Mandir

महावीर मंदिर की स्थापना 1730 ई. में स्वामी बालानंद ने की थी | साल 1900 तक यह मंदिर रामानंद संप्रदाय के अधीन रहा। उसके बाद 1948 तक इस पर गोसांई संन्यासियों का कब्जा रहा। साल 1948 में पटना हाईकोर्ट ने इसे सार्वजनिक मंदिर घोषित कर दिया। उसके बाद आचार्य किशोर कुणाल के प्रयास से साल 1983 से 1985 के बीच वर्तमान मंदिर का निर्माण शुरू हुआ | इस मंदिर का मुख्य द्वार उत्तर दिशा की ओर है और मंदिर में हनुमानजी समेत सारे देवी-देवताओं की मूर्तियां हैं, परन्तु गर्भगृह में बजरंग बली की मूर्ति है और कमाल की बात यह कि एक नहीं एक साथ दो मूर्तियां हैं – हनुमानजी की युग्म मूर्तियां।
